House Rules


  • Morality: assume that everyone is at least “good” and falls more on the side of what is “right” over what is “wrong.” The specifics I’ll leave to you just don’t fall too often on the “wrong” side of things.
  • No-PvP: and there will be no player vs. player. While you might have disagreements you are not allowed to roll combat dice at each other. You can role play things out, and if a disagreement comes to an impasse I will step in and resolve it… which might include the removal of a character and that player will have to roll a new character.

Food & lodging

For most normal situations we will assume the party has food, water, and even average lodging at most inns. Do not track inventory for rations, basic meals, water, etc. unless you’re told you’re in a survival situation (like a trek through unknown wilderness). While in town only take off gold if you choose to splurge on food or lodging that will cost more than a gold. Otherwise as adventurers who risk neck and limb you have enough spare coin to live comfortably regarding bed and board. Feel free to keep track of rations and water for when we do encounter a survival situation, but you just don’t need to subtract from them throughout a typical journey as we will assume you restock at the next town.
